This serves to confirm that SongLake Books, LLC is the sole source for each of our 30 plus guided reading collections. We hand select the best books from multiple best companies and arrange them into leveled guided reading sets appropriate for each grade. (PreK: Level A; Grade K: Levels A-D; Grade 1: Levels D-J; Grade 2: Levels J-M; Grade 3: Levels M-P and Grade 4: Levels P-S.) This assures a range of reading materials to meet the varied needs and abilities of students in typical classroom settings.

For our newest Diversity Collections we are the only company that offers leveled collections with titles from 11 leading publishers that spotlight diverse races, cultures, ethnicities, and lifestyles. We have reviewed hundreds of books and purposefully selected ones that portray children who are underrepresented in their schools’ reading materials. SongLake Books has written its own teacher guides to accompany our six-pack sets. Labels are included as well. Our newest offerings also include single copy book sets for classroom libraries. We are the sole source since these collections cannot be purchased from other companies.

We are also the sole source for each of our other guided reading collections for PreK-4: the Ellen, Nathan, Bessie, Pauline, Edward, Jason, Michelle, Jordan, Lauren, Karen, James, Madison, Jackson, Sarah, Brian, Alexandra, Gabrielle, Matthew, Mary, and Doris Sets. These were also selected from many different publishers and span a range appropriate for each classroom.

Lastly, we are the sole source for our Reading Recovery® collections including our SongLake Books Collection, our Icing on the Cake Collection, our Non Fiction Collection, our Add To Collection, and our Spanish Collection. Again, these book sets contain hand-selected books from up to 15 top publishers and span Reading Recovery levels 1-20. Each Reading Recovery set includes a set of labels with title, word count and level which SongLake Books has generated. No other company offers this collection of books.
